How to get updates

General information

When you purchase a TNI license, you get one year of free updates. The license is perpetual and includes the current version and all updates released during that year. After that, you can continue using the latest version available to you, or renew your license to receive new updates. Renewal is optional. The one-year renewal cost is 30% of the license price at the time of renewal. Technical support is free.

Checking and installing updates

Total Network Inventory is updated regularly. To make sure that you have the latest version, use the Help Check for updates option from the main menu. The program also automatically checks for updates at startup, but no more than once a day.

If an update is found, you’ll see a list of changes in the new version. Click Start download. Once the download is complete, click Install update. The program will close and restart after the update has been installed.

Updates can be disabled in Options.
