Network overview

Devices tree allows to conveniently and structurally display your network devices. Main root node My network place includes groups and such particular lists as, Green, Red and Black monitors.

The lights opposite to devices show aggregate state of this device monitors and mean the following:

• if this device does not have monitors the light or they are all stopped the light is not displayed.
• if at least one monitor is black, and the light is black.
• if at least one monitor is red, and the light is red.
• if all monitors are green, and the light is green.

To control tree use Network menu, tree toolbar or right-click menu for its each element.

Main features for tree operation:

• Add group: adds new group into the tree (to make the button active choose root node My Network Place);
• Remove group: removes the selected group in the tree (for the moment groups with stopped monitors are being removed);
• Group properties: display properties of this group;
• Add device: adds new device into group (to make the button active choose certain group in the tree);
• Remove device: removes the selected device in the tree (together with the monitors of this device);
• Device properties: display properties of this device;
• Scan Wizard: runs network Scan Wizard;
• Refresh network tree: refreshes and loads again the devices tree and group tree;
• Expand network tree: expands all group nodes in the tree;
• Collapse network tree: collapses all group nodes except root node in the devices tree;
• Find device: finds the computer in the tree by name (or by its part) or by IP address (search is performed only by currently visible data, which can be set by view mode of the tree);
• Sort tree: allows to sort the groups and devices by alphabet;
• Device display: allows to set the type of the device name display: Name, IP, Name (IP), IP (Name); where Name is the device name, IP is the device network address.

Double click any element of the tree (device or group) to display its properties.
