Main menu

Main menu allows to get an access to all features of the program and to operate separate elements of the monitoring project.

New project: creates new monitoring project, while already opened project is being saved and closed;
Open project: displays a dialog box to select and open the existing monitoring project;
Save project: saves the monitoring project into existing file, if new project is started, there comes up the dialog box for choosing such file;
Save project as…: displays the dialog box for choosing and saving the monitoring project into the file selected by the user;
Language: sub-menu alows to select the language of program interface in the list of available languages;
Options: opens the window where it is possible to specify all settings of the program;
Exit: stops the current monitoring process, closes the project and exits the program.

Tree view: switches to network tree and monitor list view;
Map view: switches to network map view;
Synchronize views: allows to synchronize the devices tree structure with the network map (in other words, the group or device is marked on the map if chosen in the tree);
All monitors log: switches journalizing to general monitoring log;
Monitor log: switches journalizing to monitoring log for the selected monitor;
Monitor activity: switches journalizing to activity diagram for the selected monitor;
Executed actions log: switches journalizing to general log of the executed actions;
Export log to file: exports monitoring log to text file;
Export log to HTML: exports monitoring log to HTML.

Add group: displays the window for adding new group, the name of this group can be set here;
Remove group: removes the selected group from the devices tree;
Group properties: displays the window with group properties;
Add device: displays the window for adding new device, the name of the device, its type, description and network address can be set here;
Remove device: removes the selected device from the devices tree;
Device properties: displays the window with the device properties;

Add monitor: displays the window for adding new monitor, where its type, its name, probe frequency and some other parameters can be indicated;
Remove monitor(s): removes one or more monitors;
Monitor properties: displays the monitor properties;
Check now / Run: runs the selected monitors;
Pause: pauses work of the selected monitors;
Stop: stops work of the selected monitors;
Enable actions: enables all actions of the selected monitors allowing their run in case a certain monitor changes its state;
Disable actions: disables all actions of the selected monitors, which prevents their run in case a certain monitor changes its sate;
Add action: to add one action with the same parameters for all selected monitors;
Check all monitors: runs all monitors.

Scan Wizard: allowing to run Scan Wizard.
Run Total Network Inventory: allows to run program Total Network Inventory.

Contents: opens user manual in CHM format;
Check for new version: connects to developer's server and checks for current version of the program. It requires direct access to Internet. If new version is available it offers to start downloading (for this purpose download manager will be set by default).
Visit product homepage: opens program web-page in the browser by default.
About: opens the window with information about program version, registered user name and license type (or information about unregistered version), copyright and useful links to web-site of Softinventive Lab Inc. company.
