Editing the license properties

Select a license from the main list and double-click on it to open the Change License dialog box. This window can also be reached via the context menu in the main list of licenses or via the Change licensebutton in the header of the details panel. This window is similar to the License creation window and lets you change the affected software item, modify licensing rules, specify the price, purchase, and expiration dates for the license, or edit assigned license keys in text mode.

Custom fields

You can add any information to a license by creating custom fields. In the Details panel, switch to the Custom fieldspage.

By clicking the Add field option, the following fields will become available: String, Numeric, Date, Price, Logical, Attachment.

In the File attachment field, you can attach any number of files to a license; the files will be copied into your Storage and archived, available later at any moment by accessing the Custom fields page.

You can delete a field by using the delete icon in the field bar.

Comments

The Comment page of the Details panel allows you to attach an arbitrary text to a license. This is a convenient place for the EULA in case you need to store it.

To delete a comment, hover over the comment field in the license edit window and click on the erase buttonthat appears, or erase all text in the edit form, which can be opened by clicking in the comment field in the license edit window or by clicking on the comment icon in the main list of licenses.

Deleting a license

To delete a license select it in the main list and click Delete licensein the Details panel.

Before deleting TNI will ask you if you want to copy the license keys.

Attention!

License deletion is irreversible. Its rules, license keys, custom fields and attached files will be lost.

License filtering

In the upper left corner of the main area, above the Create license button, there is aFilters menu button. Clicking on it opens a list of available filters that are applied to the main list of Licenses.

To apply a filter, click on the button and select a mode from the menu:

Compliance filter: displays only licenses with a certain type of licensing issues / no licensing issues; the filter is available in multiple selection mode;

Expiration filter: displays licenses with a specific status depending on the expiration date setting;

Visibility filter: displays all Licenses or excludes from the main list Licenses marked as Hidden;

Tag filter: displays only software with a specific tag; the filter is available in multiple selection mode.

Contents
