Getting started

The Welcome Screen is shown upon first start of the program Total Network Inventory, which provides quick access to the following functions:

• Run scan wizard will help you to quickly scan all computers in you Local Area Network. It is the quickest and recommended way.
• Scan this PC immediately starts to scan the computer at which the program is currently launched. It is very convenient for quick evaluation of Total Network Inventory scanning possibilities. You will get detailed report about your PC in a few minutes (usually less than a minute).
• Show main window opens main window of Total Network Inventory.
• Scan other PC allows to start scanning of a single computer, specifying its network name or IP address.
