Custom information

This page contains additional fields defined by the user:

  • Field name: shows the name of a field. Fields can be defined both in this window and in Options. Fields defined in Options are common for all computers (for exapmle if you need same fields for all PC, in order that you wouldn't have do add them manually to each PC), and are shown in this windows regardless of their value - empty or not. Also common fields are shown with an asterix after their name. These fields are shown first, and fields specific for selected PC are shown after them.
  • Field value: shows the value of each field. Note that when you define a value for an empty common custom field, it is stored in data file with all other fields. This means that if you rename a common custom field in options window, the common field with new name and empty value will be shown as common field for such computers, while the field with old name will become simple (non-common) custom field and will keep its value. The same happens when you delete a common custom field in Options - it will not be displayed in those computers that had no value defined for this field, but non-empty fields will become simple custom fields and will not be deleted.
  • Add: this button allows to add new custom field for selected computer, and requires the name of field to be provided, and its value can be entered later in the table.
  • Remove: this button allows to remove the currently selected field. The field is removed without confirmation, but if you removed some field by mistake, it is possible to close the edit window by pressing Cancel button and open it again - changes are saved only upon pressing of OK button.
  • Edit: this button allows to change the name of a field. While field values are entered in the table, field names can be changed only by this button. Common fields names cannot be changed here, but only with similar button in Options window.
  • Up and Down - these buttons allow to change the order of fields.
